We’re finally getting down to the home stretch for wedding stuff. It’s been such a whirlwind of a ride so far and I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since Paul and I got engaged! It honestly feels just like last week, and now all these things are taking place. I’ve talked to all our vendors so many times, I’m sure they hate my guts already – but nothing puts me at east like a good planning session does. I’m the queen of lists and can’t live without them. I don’t know how people operate without lists; we need organization in our lives! My brother is someone that does not believe in lists or organization. Thank god for his wife, she’s able to keep the family on track.

I think we’re on the last leg in terms of planning for the big things. The things I’m most excited for are our flowers, the band and seeing all my hard work in the invitation’s I’ve designed. Those just went to press last week, and last minute I decided to design my envelope liners. THEY ARE AMAZING! I haven’t seen them yet but, just picture this: soft blush watercolor and a watercolor map of Stone Harbor (where we’re getting married). With only a few streets on and the ONLY things that matter, the church, the venue, and Springer’s. For those of you who are reading this and are like “wtf is springers, a hardware store?”. Well let me tell you, it is only the most amazing ice cream shop ever. Homemade ice cream shoveled out by Stone Harbors best. It’s truly a must every night your down the shore. If you’re lactose intolerant like I am, you kind of just battle through the pain because it’s that good. Probably not the most healthy of things to do but…one can’t deny oneself springers. Can you just look at that photo below? This is the photo that caught my eye, done by the amazing Saltwater Studios. Steph is such a talented photographer and was able to catch this great photo right in front of Springer’s. I was thinking, I have to have her as our photographer. Lucky enough for us, she was free on our wedding day and she’s the sweetest most professional person ever. We really lucked out!

Things are really coming together, and most importantly I can’t wait to have this amazing celebration of our love and finally have Paul as my husband
