I had the pleasure of working with Patrick on his new logo for his wedding film company Petals and Pine. How amazing is that name first of all! I got this lead from one of my fellow creatives, shoutout to Aaron for hookin a girl up. Talking with Patrick over the phone was so easy, I totally got his vision of what he was looking for. A new logo that’s easily shareable, more like a badge/self-inclosed logo that has a feminine feel but not over the top. So that’s what I went with, not overly floral but some nice soft muted greens and some cool evergreens to give it a little more character.
I started off, like every project with some sketches of vines and different placement of the words just to get a feel of how I should lay out all of the options for Patrick. From there I went straight to the computer. In the end, I came up with just about 15 logos, but only showed the best 10. I really wanted to show Patrick a lot of options since this was on the more simpler side of logos. This was one of my favorite projects.
